Riverside Rejuvenation

Pullman is to be transformed into a hive of activity day and night where ease of access is paramount and outdoor plazas, gardens, and pavilions shape downtown Pullmans built environment. Main Street is transitioned into the new age of walkability and redefines public transit with three main modes, buses, aerial gondolas, and subterranean automotive passageways.

Kamiaken Gardens

Settled on the Northwest side of Pullman Washington's Main Street is a new public plaza space accessible only to Public Transit and Pedestrians. Gone are the days of loud traffic and unsafe downtown walking conditions. With Kamiaken Gardens almost all of downtown is walkable and covered in green spaces and roof gardens. Where Main Street once resided is now covered street where the Pullmans Farmers Market and many other community events can now take place in the heart of Pullman.

Pullman Transit Hub

Placed over top of formerly dilapidated buildings the Pullman Transit Hub gives Downtown a new central gathering location just to the east of Kamiaken Gardens. All of Pullman's public transit converges at this building just off the creek beds. Three different modes of transportation can be seen and or used within the Transit Hub. Aerial Gondolas, Public Buses, and Walking.
